We rebuilt Movvie from scratch. New look, new feel, and a brand-new way to decide what to watch tonight.
A cinematic redesign. Out with the old — Movvie is now dark, gold and poster-forward, where every film lights up its own screen. New app icon to match.
Scroll, don’t swipe. No more swiping cards like a dating app. Movvie is a feed now — scroll through movies, double-tap to like, tap the bookmark to save for later, and just keep scrolling past anything that’s not for tonight. The more you tap, the better it learns your taste.
Match Rooms. Can’t agree on a movie? Start a Room, share the code, and Movvie finds the film everyone actually wants to watch — with a cinematic “It’s a match!” moment when it does. No accounts, no sign-ups.
Browse by genre. Jump straight to thrillers, comedies, sci-fi and more when you already know the vibe you’re after.
Made for the whole house. Kids, Family and Grown-ups modes mean you can hand the phone to the little ones worry-free — grown-up titles stay locked behind Face ID, and Movvie always opens in Family mode so it’s safe by default.
